Overview
LinkedIn Reporting is the analytics dashboard for LinkedIn outbound campaigns run through HeyReach. It has the same layout as Reporting v2 — time series chart, smart filters, a campaign breakdown table, and a contact-level drilldown — but every metric is built around LinkedIn message types instead of email sends: connection requests, standard messages, and InMails. Only admins and clients can view this page, and it only loads data once the client has at least one outbound integration connected. For LinkedIn specifically, that means HeyReach is connected under Settings → Integrations. If no sequencer is connected yet, the page shows a “Your Sequencer Isn’t Connected Yet” empty state with a link to the integrations page instead of any report data.
Message Type Filter
A toggle in the top-right of the page scopes the entire report — metric cards, the chart, and the campaign table — to one message type:
When All Message Types is selected, cards like Total Sent, Total Replies, and Positive Replies also show a Standard vs. InMail breakdown underneath the headline number.
Metrics
The metric cards row shows core LinkedIn funnel metrics. Any custom funnel steps you’ve defined (see below) appear as additional cards.
Cards can be dragged to reorder, and each metric’s order/visibility is remembered per message-type tab. Admins can right-click a card to hide or show it for the client; a card that’s hidden for the client shows a lock indicator to admins. A funnel-step card shows an alert badge if its underlying HeyReach statuses aren’t mapped yet (see Missing status mappings below).
Use More Reports in the filter bar to open a menu where you can toggle which cards are visible, reorder them, toggle the Performance Overview chart on/off, and open Manage Metrics to add a custom funnel step.
Performance Overview Chart
The chart plots the same metrics as the cards over time — sends, unique prospects, replies, positive replies, connection requests, messages, and InMails, plus any custom funnel steps. Click a metric chip above the chart to toggle its line on or off.- Daily / Weekly / Monthly grouping — Weekly requires a date range of at least 7 days and Monthly requires at least 30 days; the buttons are disabled with a tooltip explaining why until the range qualifies.
- Click a data point to filter the page down to that single metric and narrow the date range to the clicked day (or week/month, depending on grouping).
- Drag across the chart (click and drag horizontally) to select a custom date range directly from the chart.
Campaign Breakdown Table
The table lists every campaign matching your current filters.
Custom funnel steps are appended as extra columns on the right.
Senders: if a campaign rotates more than one sender, the column shows the first sender’s name and a “+N” pill. Clicking it expands per-sender sub-rows with that sender’s individual metrics.
Disposition breakdown: click the expand icon on the Interested column header to break “Interested” out into sub-columns per reply disposition (synced from HeyReach’s status classification).
Sorting: use the dropdown in the table header — Date (Old → New / New → Old) or Name (A-Z / Z-A). You can also click any column label to sort by that metric. Each numeric column also has a small R button — click it on two different columns (including custom funnel steps) to compute a ratio between them, shown as an extra Ratio column; click either R button again to clear it.
Compare: click Compare in the table header, then select up to two campaigns — the table filters down to just those two so you can compare them side by side. Click Compare again to exit.
Roll-Up Report: click Roll-Up Report to switch each campaign’s numbers from raw counts to a percentage of total activity across all visible campaigns — useful for seeing which campaigns contribute most to overall results rather than how each performed standalone. In this mode, the New/Old prospect columns and percentage columns are replaced with roll-up percentage columns, and a summary footer totals campaigns, emails, and replies.
A Campaign Steps toggle exists in the code for this table but is currently disabled in the UI — it isn’t something you can turn on today.
Campaign Actions (Admin)
Admins get a note and archive action on each campaign row:- Add/Edit Note — attach a free-text note to a campaign. If someone else edited the note in the meantime, you’ll see a conflict warning and can choose to overwrite it.
- Archive — type
ARCHIVEto confirm. This hides the campaign from reporting.
Archiving currently has no self-service undo in the LinkedIn Reporting UI — if you archive a campaign by mistake, you’ll need to contact your site administrator to have it restored.
Custom Funnel Steps
You can define your own funnel metric by mapping one or more HeyReach sequencer statuses to a named step:- Open More Reports → Manage Metrics (or the pencil/plus action inside the Core Metrics submenu).
- Give the step a name (up to 40 characters).
- Select one or more HeyReach statuses to roll up into it.
- Save.
Missing Status Mappings
If some HeyReach statuses used by your campaigns aren’t mapped to any funnel step, admins see a banner above the campaign table: “Some metric cards may show 0 results due to missing status mappings.” Click Manage Status Mappings to jump to the integrations page and finish the mapping, or dismiss the banner for the session.Filters and Smart Views
- Edit Filters opens the full filter builder for contact/company-level filtering.
- More Filters reveals quick multi-select pickers for Sequencers, Campaigns, and Senders (senders only appears once campaign data with sender info has loaded).
- Active filters show as removable chips below the toolbar; use Filters (N) to reopen the chip bar if you’ve collapsed it.
- Benchmarks opens the benchmark settings panel.
reporting_linkedin view kind — choose Save as new view or Update current view. Saved views appear in the sidebar and reload instantly when selected. Switching clients reloads whichever view (if any) is saved for that client.
Drilldown Data Table
Click any metric card, chart point, or table cell to open the data panel — a resizable sheet at the bottom of the page.- Contacts and Companies tabs, each with its own row count.
- Search by name, email/LinkedIn URL, or company (contacts) or by company name (companies).
- Column visibility is configurable per tab via the column-settings dropdown.
- Download exports the currently visible rows and columns as CSV.
- Scrolling loads more rows automatically (infinite scroll) rather than paginating.
The contacts table’s “Email” column is labeled LinkedIn URL here and falls back to the contact’s LinkedIn profile URL when no email is on file — a difference from the email Reporting v2 drilldown.
Message Thread
Clicking View Reply / View Sent next to a contact opens the Message Thread modal: every message for that contact, grouped by campaign, in chronological order. Inbound replies are visually distinguished from outbound sends, connection-request-sent and connection-request-accepted events are shown as system events inline, and reply text has quoted content stripped for readability.Benchmark Settings
Because LinkedIn has no “bounce” concept, the benchmarks panel only covers two metrics:
For each metric, set a Green threshold (the value above which performance is good) and a Yellow threshold (the value above which performance is average). Anything below the Yellow threshold is automatically treated as Red. These thresholds drive the color-coded indicators used elsewhere in the report.
