# Agent Prompts and ICPs

> Reusable prompts and Ideal Customer Profiles your AI agents read and score against.

## Overview

RevyOps has two related libraries of Markdown documents:

* **AI Documents**, at Settings > AI Documents, which holds Agent Prompts, RevyOps Guides and Shared Documents
* **Ideal Customer Profiles**, at Settings > Ideal Customer Profiles, which holds ICPs your AI agents score and qualify records against

Both pages share the same folder, search and assignment behavior.

## Ideal Customer Profiles

The **Ideal Customer Profiles** page subtitle reads "Reusable Markdown profiles your AI agents can score and qualify records against."

The page shows:

* A **New folder** button and a **New profile** button
* A search box ("Search profiles and folders")
* A "Type" filter and a client filter ("Any client")
* A table with columns Profile, Type, Assigned to, and Last updated

Each ICP has a profile type:

An empty folder shows "Empty folder. Add a profile to it."

### Deleting a Profile

Deleting a profile warns you first:

> Any AI agent step referencing this profile will lose that context. This cannot be undone.

## Library Folders

Both Agent Prompts and ICPs can be organized into folders. Folders are per agency and per kind, so your prompt folders and your ICP folders are separate lists.

* Folder names must be unique within their kind (ignoring case). Duplicating a name shows "A folder with that name already exists."
* A blank name shows "A folder name is required."
* The folder menu offers New document (or New profile), Rename folder, and Delete folder.
* Each row's menu offers View, Edit, Move to folder (with a Top level option, or "No folders yet" if you haven't made any), and Delete.

### Deleting a Folder Keeps Its Files

Deleting a folder never deletes what's inside it. The documents or profiles move back to the free-floating list at the top level. The confirmation dialog says so directly:

> Delete folder "\[name]"?

> The documents inside stay. They move back to the free-floating list.

(ICPs show the same message with "profiles" in place of "documents".)

## Zip Import

Agent Prompts and ICPs can be bulk-imported from a zip file of Markdown files. This is currently an API-only capability, there is no import button in the settings pages.

Import rules:

* Upload is capped at 8 MB.
* Only `.md` and `.markdown` files are imported. Other files, non-UTF-8 files, and files over the character limit are skipped and reported back with a reason.
* Each file becomes one document, named after the file (without its extension).
* The file's folder path becomes the document's folder, for example a file at `RevyOps Method/Templates/foo.md` lands in the folder "RevyOps Method / Templates". Files at the root of the zip stay loose.
* Re-importing a file with the same folder and name replaces its content, keeping the same document and its existing assignment.
* Imported documents can only be assigned to no one or to all clients. Assign specific clients afterward from the page.

## Size Limits

* Document and profile content is capped at 64,000 characters.
* Names are capped at 255 characters.

## MCP Access

Your AI agent, connected through the MCP under Settings > Developer > MCP, can work with both libraries using the same set of tools, switching between them with a `kind` parameter (`agent_prompt` or `icp`):

* List folders
* List documents or profiles, optionally within a folder
* Read one in full, by outline, or by a single section
* Search by name and content
* Create or update one
* Delete one, but only if it's assigned to that client alone

For a new ICP, the profile type is set the same way an Agent Prompt's entity type is set on creation.
