# Trigify

> Import Trigify social signals into RevyOps and file them on the right contact.

## Prerequisites

* A Trigify account with at least one saved search
* Permission to create an API key in Trigify

## How Trigify Works in RevyOps

Trigify watches social platforms for posts that match your keywords. RevyOps imports those posts
and files each one on the person who wrote it as an activity. See
[Activities & Scoring](/user-guide/activities-and-scoring) for how activities work and how to
score them.

A few things to know before you connect it:

* **People are matched by LinkedIn profile.** Trigify never sends an email address. Anyone new
  becomes a LinkedIn-only contact that enrichment can fill in later.
* **LinkedIn only, for now.** Your Trigify searches can also cover X, Reddit, YouTube, and
  Substack, but RevyOps only stores LinkedIn posts. The others don't carry a profile to match a
  person on, so they're skipped.
* **Expect fewer contacts than signals.** Mentions cluster on a few prolific posters, so 50
  results is often only a handful of people.
* **Companies are linked only through the contact.** Trigify sends a company name but never a
  domain, so a signal reaches a company only when the matched person is already on one.
* **Scoring stays off until you turn it on.** The Trigify scoring rules are created disabled, so
  importing signals can't move anyone's score by surprise.

## Setup

    In Trigify, go to **Settings → API Keys**, create a key, and paste it into RevyOps. RevyOps
    checks the key against Trigify before continuing.

  <Step title="Choose what to sync">
    RevyOps lists the searches (and, on a Trigify Enterprise plan, topics) in your Trigify
    workspace. Tick the ones RevyOps should import. Anything left unticked is ignored.

  <Step title="Set up real-time push (optional)">
    Your selected sources already import automatically every 12 hours. If you want signals the
    moment Trigify finds them, build a workflow in Trigify that posts to your RevyOps webhook URL:
    a **New Post Trigger** (or **Multi Post Trigger** for every saved search at once), with an
    HTTP Request action set to **POST** and your webhook URL. This step is optional and costs no
    Trigify credits.
  </Step>

## Sync Behaviour

* Selected searches and topics import on a recurring schedule, roughly every 12 hours.
* You can trigger a manual sync at any time from the integration's Settings screen.
* Name resolution (turning a matched profile into a full contact name) is opt-in, since it spends
  a Trigify credit.
* The webhook URL is unique per client. Keep it private, the same way you'd treat an API key.

## Settings

From the Trigify panel's review screen you can sync now, reconfigure the connection, view your
current source selection and push status, or disconnect Trigify entirely.
